English 4: Read pages 90 – 97 in The Stranger and write a two-paragraph log. In the second paragraph, predict what will happen next. Explain the reasons for your prediction.

English 4 HP:

• Read 108 – 115 in The Stranger. No log.
• If you weren’t here today, also do the following: Write a well-reasoned essay in which you persuade your reader that Meursault should be found innocent or guilty (your choice). Use at least four Concrete Details (quotes from The Stranger) to back up your argument. Spend no more than 45 minutes on this, from start to finish. It doesn’t need to look pretty–scratch-outs are fine.
