English 2: Work on memorizing your poem of choice from the reader (or other poem if it’s been approved by Ms. Hale).
English 4: Write a two-paragraph log about the Pardoner’s Tale from The Canterbury Tales.

English 2: Choose a poem (minimum eight lines long) to memorize. If your poem is not in the reader, bring in a copy for Ms. Hale to approve.
English 4: If you did not finish your literary-term card in class, finish it for homework. (If you weren’t here today, read to line 132 of “The Pardoner’s Tale” and write down an example of irony, metaphor, symbolism, or personification from the story. Then write a paragraph explaining how this is an example of the term.)
