English 4 & English 4 HP: Finish the final draft of your journalistic article. Bring in the following:

- Article RD
- Interview Questions & Notes
- Journalism Story Idea Worksheet
English 2: Read pages 64 – 70 of Night, then write a letter from Elie to his father or from Elie’s father to Elie. In your letter, refer to specific events from the assigned reading.
English 4 & English 4 HP: Finish reading Chunk #8 of your Book Group book.
English 2:
- Write at least four notes for pages 55 – 63 of Night. (Follow the instructions on the Night bookmark–download here & here.)
- Bring Night and your SSR book tomorrow.
English 4 & English 4 HP:
- Write a rough draft of your journalistic article. This should be at least one page long.
- Bring your RD, interview notes, and Journalism Story Idea Worksheet tomorrow.

English 4 HP: Write an analysis of this article from the San Francisco Chronicle. Include the following:
- Describe the two sides of the issue and the sources that the writers used for each
- Explain what happened. (Remember, this article is about lots of things that happened!)
- Write your response and opinions about the article. How does it show or avoid showing bias?
- Write your response and opinions about the issue. Do you support the Berkeley city council’s decision? Why or why not?
